Kiwi Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Good grief, that's an eyeful of bass. It would have been great if he'd managed matching covers but I guess that wasn't going to happen with a solid body wing. Quote

Annoying Twit Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 Do many basses with bolt on necks have ten bolts? Quote
wateroftyne Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 That would look fantastic with a solid black refin. Quote
Ou7shined Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I think it needs an extra neck screw. Somehow 10 doesn't seem enough. Quote
waynepunkdude Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Imagine if you got it and the neck fell off. Quote

steve-soar Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Plasy covers and a serial number written in tipex, for that money it sounds like a P or J bass, one for a "merchant banker" with a bulging portfolio me thinks. Quote
MB1 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 MB1. That neck could do with a few more Screws in it!.....Looks very Shifty! "just one more wafffffffffer thin neck screw?.....Mr Creosote!" Quote
wateroftyne Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I'm kinda interested... does anyone know if it can sound like a P with flats? Quote

Somehow 10 doesn't seem enough.
I think he should take the neck off and sell it as a project. It would keep someone busy for a few hours bolting the neck back on. Anyway, the shape is shamelessly stolen from master Vietnamese luthier Antonio Tsai. At least the Tsai has a proper through neck as God intended. Quote
Kev Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 hang on...did he say that the most expensive ritter bass is $250000?? you'v got to be kidding me Quote
