He sold the format on to another company who made some shows in a studio on a set made up to look like DH's place. It looked lame.

I've been trying to get my past 2 bands to play "I can't go for that", but the problem is, I live in Perth.  The drummers from both bands were up for it, but the rest are either pop indie or pop grandad rock (Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, etc).  

Maybe when I move away I'll find a bunch of decent musicians.

Another piece of trivia. . . . the bass line on I Can't Go For That inspired Michael Jackson when he recorded Billie Jean.

I've heard that.  I've more commonly heard some folk (who obviously are not bassists) saying that it's the same bassline.
