Burgera amps

Hi. I have been looking for a combo amp and came across Bugera. I have not heard of them but they have a 1000w valve amp through a 1x15 speaker for around £355. Is this a good deal and are they reliable and above all delivery good quality sound. Has anyone any experience of them

They are Behringher's 'quality brand' but their 1000 watts are not the same as others....

I would be very sceptical of the 1000w rating, especially going through one 15 inch speaker.

 

The Bugera head has some writes up in the Amp section of the site.

Ya can't beat an amp Burgera when you've got the munchies

I tried a Behringer amp head thru a Bugera 410 cab. Looked wuite like the Markbass cab ported at bottom. Amp had a nice clean sound. Not muddy and not too clinical either. All in all the Bugera cab sounded good and even coped with the octaver on the amp when i tried it.

At the price they are not a bad amp and cab set up.

Thanks for your reply. Will certainly consider although I would want to try first
