Maude Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Luckily the repaired neck break is in the very dark, almost black area so it could be smoothed and blended in quite easily. As long as the repair is solid. Irrelevant now anyway, it's sold. Quote
wright/watt Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Had a B 301F fretless, as close as you will get to a double bass sound. Brilliant!!! The bridge though, nightmare🙈 That said, another one I should not have sold..ho hum... Quote
MacDaddy Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I had a 301. Sounded great and looked great, just the neck for me was too thick, and could never get the hang of setting up the bridge. Mark Angel used 301 with Wrathchild (UK). Quote

I did a festival with them a couple of years back. Barely recognisable from the Stakk Attakk days. Different line-up now too, obviously. 1 Quote

I've mentioned them before, coincidentally in another Guild B-301 thread. 1 Quote
Lozz196 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I loved them too, great band, music was much more fun in that era. Quote
inthedoghouse Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 (edited) Very much likey indeed! Now I'm wondering what I could sell to fund one, ha ha! And in the 70s a friend had a very nice Guild JS2 which often comes to mind. I see the bass player from Ken's Groundhogs uses a B301 Edited March 18, 2021 by inthedoghouse Typo Quote
