The Bass Walk with Abraham Laboriel

This popped up in my YT profile this morning... bit of an oddity with duelling basses... 

Not sure it's great music (actually I'm fairly sure) but interesting none the less for a great tone from the BC Rich and Abraham appears to be playing a new Yamaha 6...

Well that's reignited my periodic Mockingbird gas.

The tone on that clip isn't really my thing, but they just look so cool.

Edit : Although having just listened through a decent speaker the tone of both basses is actually pretty awesome.

Note to self :Never make judgements based on the sound of anything heard soley through tablet speakers.

I can't see anything wrong with the music at all. Not my usual listening but it's entertaining and isn't the usual slapfest dross one sees on youtube.  Cato's right - decent speakers make all the difference.  Great drumming too.
