Hi everyone! Thought I'd finally sign up as I've been haunting theses corridors reading stuff for ages :)

Been playing about 15 years - I currently play in a rock covers band. Never been in a pure covers band before and really enjoy it!

Kit wise I use a MiM Fender Jazz which I've fitted Seymor Duncan pickups, American style hand wound electrics, Goteh Badass II style bridge and painted neon pick :)

Squier Jaguar with Humbucker (previous owner replaced logo with Fender)

Fender Mark Hoppus (phase2) Signature Precison.

Ashdown ABM EvoII, 2X10 & 1X15

I look forward to getting involved with the community!

Haha yes I seen many comments about this dark art.

In my deference it was like than when I bought it!

And it was an absolute bargain - I'd never seen a Jag with a humbucker before.

Like lesser other fora, we've got a good selection of mongreloid instruments.

Many of these have been birthed before our very eyes.  I'm sure you've seen the Build Diaries already.

Ahhh 'Narm - know it quite well as I work for Ford.

I'm in the utopia that is Chelmsford :)

My old man worked at the Dagenham plant pretty much all of his life, ( wasn't that the biggest factory in Europe at the time ? ) till we moved near to Purfleet, then he transferred to what was then the AVO plant at  Ockendon -  Advanced Vehicle Operations, where i think all the old Escort Mexicos were fettled

I confess that i was actually born in Barking hospital,  but the paradise that is Dagenham was where my parents lived at the time.

I worked in Hornchurch in my early days of working,  and Romford.  And then started the outward trajectory that you speak of.  I got a lot further than you, as you can see

So i win  B|

Another Essex boy here. My parents moved to Westcliff when I was 4 - 56 years ago, how did that happen? -and apart from a couple of years in London have always lived in southeast Essex. Benfleet for the last 24.

Another Essex occupant here, and in Hornchurch as well, as referenced by others.

However, I too am an outsider, having arrived from the Frozen North some 37 years ago on a mission of Spreading Culture To The Locals.... you can guess how that turned out.

LOL
