Just out of interest the ABM 400 was a  deeper in tone with exactly the same settings , But I think that is due to the ABM1000 having internal adjustable filters that were probably backed off as I know a few 8x10 cabs were blown in its development .

By the size of transformer in the bottom picture (unless it is an optical illusion) I agree with RandomBass.

Either way, tiny transformers compared to the toroidal ones.

yep top one is the ABM400 ..interesting to compare to the inside of a MB head that's half the size & still looks empty .
