Scoop
Time to get rid of a few basses after the arrival of my new ACG and the imminent arrival of another ACG five string. Warwick Fortress One. Made 1996. Maple body, wenge neck (not ovangkol) , MEC P & J pups, active two band EQ with a push pull on one of the pots that... (Scoop waves hands in air vaguely) that... does stuff. It's been a trusty servant for many years and probably my main gigging bass since the Great Gibson Grabber Catastrophy of '99. It's not in the greatest cosmetic condition, but frankly that doesn't matter on a working bass like this. On a Fender it's called mojo on a Warwick it's called looks a bit shagged out. It's a real workhorse bass, unburstable, solid as a rock and never lets you down. I'm selling a few basses this week, hopefully, and I suspect I'm going to miss this one the most. Great bass and uber comfy to play. Including a shagged out but serviceable hardcase. Oh by the way: It's not a Rockbass, it's a proper Warwick which, according to the tuners was made in WEST Germany. I suspect they'd had them in the stores for a while. Collection preferred (based in Liverpool). £325ono (no trades thanks) Edited November 25, 2008 by Scoop

Guest
Great basses these and a great price. I had one with only the p pickup, nice slim neck, yes warwicks can have slim necks. If your in the market for a bass of this price really you should check it out.

Scoop
A member of my family has just rung me and given me a serious telling off for not offering this to him before I put it up here. Sold to my nephew, Terence (with visiting rights for me!)
