fragility
So hubby (guitarist) and I (bassist) have let our playing slip since we became parents and really want to start playing again. one big obstacle is just having the time to setup and put away gear, so looking for something really small and simple, maybe one of those iPhone interfaces that just lets us plug in and play (silently), but we’ve lost all track of what’s on the market. Any ideas or recommendations?
CameronJ
Are you looking to be able to record or just jam? Also, what’s your budget? The obvious choice if recording isn’t a concern would be a small mixer with a couple of instrument inputs. Most mixers will only have a single headphone output though so you’d have to use a splitter to be able to plug 2 sets of phones in, and even then you’d have to both run at the same volume level, etc. Interface-wise, most of them tend to only have a single headphone output as well, although something like this is an exception to that rule: https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/160513297797002--focusrite-scarlett-6i6-2nd-gen?gclid=Cj0KCQjw5-TXBRCHARIsANLixNyQ5vAQPX6325f6R5rKxZ4QGDx28077JqZtYE7v86eILgIf01ZCmp8aAnDeEALw_wcB No iOS support though!
