Recently joined the Sandberg club after buying this one on here and another one coming in a couple of weeks (from here as well.

Keen to know what the Cali VM4 is like?

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work - you have 3 holes it should be fine - you just need to check your cavity depth with the stacked knob - so long as it is deep enough carry on.

For reference this is the standard Glock 2 band EQ they use I have lurking around.
 

Is that a Volume stacked Bass/Treble & Balance pre you've got ?

Still really enjoying my Electra VS4, would love a tort guard though. Does anyone have an email address for Sandberg? Or am I just as well going through a dealer to get to them?

I cannot for the life of me remember either, I am sure I made reference somewhere an old one of mine was 15 hundreds - and I think that was around 2010-2012?

Mine is 3697, I bought it from here around 15 years ago I think secondhand?  I did have a really early one I bought from Germany probably 18 years ago, but sold it to a friend.

Just heard back from Sandberg ref my Electra VS4.  s/n 22365 born on 31 May 2014.

I probably have another point of reference or two, will check back later.

I think if I have it right from memory they produce around 250 bases per month so that holds water, and you can work backwards

I saw a for sale and they said there's was 37** and 2009, but I know I had this in 2008 from a photo, so even if I bought it then, I am not sure it was made that year.

Mine is 33xxx and I bought it from a retailer (not custom order) in Aug 2019. Here's a rough extrapolation using the numbers so far!

My Panther's serial number makes it a 2019, which makes sense as I bought it new in early January this year.

My Ken Taylor was ordered June 2012 and delivered in Dec /Jan, and had s/n17297

My Classic Booster was ordered maybe autumn 2013 and delivered spring 2014 I think, and had s/n 20931 

Don't know if I can easily find details of the others I've had

Seems like we have a roughly accurate chronology then - good work @jrixn1

Here are a couple more with a reasonable degree of certainty:

29350 - Ordered late summer 2016; delivered May 2017

25665 - Acquired new from C&C in March 2016 - 2015 build

xxxxx - Ordered July 2020; delivery anticipated very early 2021....

I actually found my old feedback thread on here, and I bought my Sandberg on here in 2007 from 99ster.  I've emailed Sandberg to see when it was made, will see what they say when they reply.
