gary mac Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Hopefully someone can help with this. I'm mostly rehearsing and gigging with my jazz at the moment and although I have a number of stands none of them are quite right for the offset body shape. They hold it to a fashion, but it's far from perfect. Any recommendations please. Cheers, Gary. Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Hercules do a few that grab & support at the headstock. Quote
BassBod Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I've got a K&M one which hangs by the headstock (no direct body supports) - works with a J really well. Quote
gary mac Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 thanks chaps, will check out the options suggested. All the best, Gary. Quote
Ray Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I use one like this: The bit at the bottom that the bass sits on swivels round so works well with the offset Jazz body. Amazon sell them too. aceuggy Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I use a Hercules shoksafe stand with my jazz. Very secure and easy to transport. BigRedX Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Does the bottom part of the Shoksafe stand swivel? The basses I need stands for are much more off-set than a Jazz. Quote
