Ive sold an old encore short scale bass to a friend for his daughter for xmas.The pots are a bit scratchy so i thought i'd try and sort it out for him as it's living here till then.Do i just spray the back of them with electrical cleaner or is there more to it ?? YouMa Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Its dead easy mate just unscrew the plate with them on and get a can of switch cleaner from maplin make sure it has the straw attached to it.Fix the straw to the nozlle flood each pot with it while turning each knob back and fourth.Dead easy.
