Dan Dare Posted June 8, 2018 Share Posted June 8, 2018 I found the .070 Tomastik too slinky for my taste. I couldn't get the intonation correct without winding the bridge saddle practically off its bolt thread. I replaced mine with a D'Addario Chrome XL .075 and it worked fine and, now it has aged a bit, matches the Tomastiks for tone very well. Tension feels more even under the fingers, too.
