TRADED! Wolfgang Staab Streamer bass (Ebony neck!) £399

Hello! Got this bass not too long ago, but didn't use it much... only some home practice. Built in the 80s by the german luthier Wolfgang Staab (founder of SKC Bogart), it's built like a violin, kinda revealing the classic style of the builder (who's also famous for building an Octobass, a huge doublebass cousin). Solid Ebony neck and fingerboard (!) set-in, Figured Maple body, Bartolini pickups, Noll preamp, Schaller hardware. It was purple when I got it, now it's been professionally refinished and it's like a Warwick (oil finish), showing the amazing woods it's made of. It's a great sounding and feeling bass, concave body, not too heavy - and has a killer slap tone too while being very versatile and big sounding. Datum (£399) sold, Staab (649) traded.

Yeah, it's definitely a great bass for the money, I'm just passing the very good deal I got on it... I could probably sell it for much more as it's well built, but I'm just looking for somebody who will gig it.

Solid Ebony neck?  Really? Must weight quite a bit.  And the value of the ebony will be more than the value of the bass (possibly)!
