I never knew of the guy , but what an interesting character.

Maybe I didn't quite follow this correctly, but was he gently hinting that the main theme of Stairway to Heaven was actually lifted from one of his compositions ?

He never said anything like that to me ...I think it was just his way of hinting at who he played with ...it's  a bit confusing in places ...lot's of things being repeated but a worthy effort at documenting a great guys life.
