Here is my wonderful Kala Electro / Acoustic Fretted U Bass in solid, book matched Bubinga hard wood and not to be confused with the less expensive models offered by Kala, which although are wonderful instruments, they do not have the same exotic appearance of this beautiful wood. Gorgeous solid Mahogany neck.

The built in Chromatic Tuner is superb, as are the volume and tone controls.

The condition is superb, although the foam hard case has a few marks, a small tear on the front pocket and the lining has partially come away, but could easily be fixed - Zips all  working ok.

The action is high - see pics - but this is the norm for Kala Basses and does not cause any problems, as the polymer strings are very soft, pliable and easy to fret.

This has to be the ultimate home noodling bass and can be heard enough acoustically in a quiet living, or bedroom providing those lovely sonic bass tones, but when plugged into an amp or PA it produces lovely, deep rich Bass that sounds as close to a double upright Bass as possible and the look on the rest of the bands faces iwhen you do s a sight to behold!!
