discreet Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 These can be got cheap, but £44 is a real steal. They are great amps, too. Mucho HEFT! In all possible ways. Quote
kevvo66 Posted May 31, 2018 Author Posted May 31, 2018 Insanely loud, I have new lightweight cabs and head which yes their light, but you won't beat these old girls +these are real mens bass combos and not the faint heartedI had the whole house rattling, oh bliss and that why my lightweight stuff is going, just need to source a trace cab now to go with my trace amp. 2 Quote
TheGreek Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Welcome to the fold....as you say, can't beat an old Trace. Get yourself a good trolley though. Quote
VTypeV4 Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 My first 'big' Trace back in about '99.. I had trouble with the original bg12s Celestion speaker which got a bit 'flappy' but thankfully Trace Elliot upgraded it for free with a Q/K series model with a bigger magnet, voice coil and a generally better spec. Sounded super after that. Hope you enjoy yours - £44 is a bargain! Quote
kevvo66 Posted July 5, 2018 Author Posted July 5, 2018 I'm loving the old girl , great in a band situation too 😍 Quote
