RussFM Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 (edited) ***** now sold ***** I sold all my gear last year before moving house, and this was the first thing I bought afterwards just so I had a bass in the house, but it's just not getting played much now so I'm replacing it with something P shaped. I bought it from Bass Direct for £150, so asking the same. It's a lot of bass for the money! Very well made, better than the Mex Fenders I've had. Schaller Licesed Tuners, Hohner branded EMG Select pickups, active/passive switch, volume, volume and stacked treble/bass. Very shallow neck profile and a pretty flat fretboard so really easy to play. It's pretty heavy, but balances well. Very good condition for its age (early-mid 90s?). I assume it's made it the Cort factory as it's made in Korea with a C serial number. I'd rather not post at the moment (no case or gig bag by the way), but i'm near Worcester, and in Coventry four days a week and Shropshire some weekends, so meeting around the Midlands shouldn't be a problem! Bigwan Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 I used to lust after one of these when I was just taking up bass. Would have been late '91 so your timing is right. Haven't seen many since!
paul_5 Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 I had a Hohner fretless Jazz years ago - white with a tort plate and a really playable neck. Sold it years ago. Stupid me.
RussFM Posted June 8, 2018 Author Posted June 8, 2018 I am going to miss that neck! But there's a two bass rule in our house (not my rule!) and there's currently three after it's replacement arrived today!

skb558 Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 My first bass bought secondhand in 1995 was one like this. Ah, memories 😀
