Thanks for posting, I enjoyed that. Very honest with humour in there.

 

It seems Paul Page wasn’t the only touring Bassist for IH who got spooked.

I've seen Ian and The Rant Band many times. Paul Page does a great job.

Well, Jaco is Jaco, but it seems to me he's playing mostly blues, but in the upper register whereas Paul seemed more comfortable in the "bass range." And ya gotta love his attitude.  Both solos are fine.

Nice approach to the 'elephant in the room'. Intrigued to hear the original I looked on Youtube  and there's plenty of young ladies  who can play it note for note!

Made me check out the original again as well, which I always thought was Jaco at his most accessible. Page's solo was cool as well...
