EssentialTension Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 (edited) With Paul Page on bass. Edited June 2, 2018 by EssentialTension Quote
lowdown Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 (edited) Thanks for posting, I enjoyed that. Very honest with humour in there. It seems Paul Page wasn’t the only touring Bassist for IH who got spooked. Look at the first post in this video. 😂 Edited June 2, 2018 by lowdown Quote
12stringbassist Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 I've seen Ian and The Rant Band many times. Paul Page does a great job. Quote
plangentmusic Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 (edited) Well, Jaco is Jaco, but it seems to me he's playing mostly blues, but in the upper register whereas Paul seemed more comfortable in the "bass range." And ya gotta love his attitude. Both solos are fine. Edited June 2, 2018 by plangentmusic Quote

spongebob Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Nice one, thanks for posting. Myself and Mr. Page are now Twitter buddies as well! Quote
yorks5stringer Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Nice approach to the 'elephant in the room'. Intrigued to hear the original I looked on Youtube and there's plenty of young ladies who can play it note for note! Quote
peteb Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Nice clip, thanks for posting. Made me check out the original again as well, which I always thought was Jaco at his most accessible. Page's solo was cool as well... Quote
