bassmachine2112
Hiho just got an Alvarez ab60ce electro acoustic.I gigged it 4 hours after I got it.I had a blast .So far it's a lovely bit of kit ,Well finished with good set up from the factory.I was well impressed with the sound going direct through PA.A few tweeks to the action and it will be spot on.Next thing is to find strings that are a bit lower tension than the stock Ddarrio exp coated things.Overall happy bunny.Anybody got one and what do you think.Away to do some unplugged. howdenspur
Ancient thread resurrection...I've just got one of these, a lovely thing indeed! Can you recommend a gig bag or case for this? (It's a 32" scale but with a jumbo-ish body)?

jd56hawk
For acoustic bass…D'Addario all the way. (Headphones are recommended.)
PaulThePlug
I still love a noodle on my Harley B HBO850... Lovely warm tones with a set of cheap Adagio/Olympic Flats, rather than squeakin' about on Phospher Bronze... But 34", Shorter Scale 32" may be limiting on string choice... Enjoy.
