joegarcia Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 (edited) Really love this pedal but just can't justify keeping it as my need for a good quality bass distortion is far greater. It's the guitar version but sounds great with bass, especially with a blender. In good condition with wooden box and EU PSU. Trade for top quality bass distortion such as T Rex Bass Juice or Owen Bass Gremlin, octave up pedals or something unusual. Or 95 quid, shipped. Pics soon. Edited December 2, 2008 by joegarcia
Kev Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 mate, if youv not tried a bass juice, id recommend you reconsider. I found it to be a really poor, VERY overpriced pedal which in many ways sounded like a behringer copy of the boss odb-3.... go figure the gremlin looks tasty though!
joegarcia Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 Ah ok ta, thanks for the heads up.
YouMa Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 I built a clone fuzz face not even germanium transistors,i wired in true bypass and it beat a juice,or so a couple of friends say.
joegarcia Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 Ok, sorted for distortion now so looking for octave up pedals duch as a Micro Pog, a Boss Re20 or cash.
Protium Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I haven't tried one out but I think the MicroPOG is very expensive for what it does... (IMO of course)
joegarcia Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 Dont think there are many decent octave up pedals available are there? The Micro Pog is one of the best I've tried for tracking and tone. What cheaper alternatives would you suggest?
Guest BassKS Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 EBS Octabass does up and down if I recall. and it costs 90 quid from new from Bass Centre.
Guest BassKS Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Id love it but I tried my guitarsist one and my warwick SSI clipped the feck out of it.

Surprised you had that problem with am analogue pedal like this.

joegarcia Posted December 13, 2008 Author Posted December 13, 2008 Also consider p/x for a small compressor pedal (Guyatone/MXR etc) and cash my way.
Matty Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 I don't suppose you're interested in an XP-100?
