spongebob
The 'plush' interior (top side) of one of my Fender hard cases is coming away, so needs a bit of glue to stick it back. Any suggestions of the best adhesive to use? There's an array of choices, not sure what would work best. Thoughts?

BigRedX
You can get a perfectly suitable hot glue gun plus 12 glue sticks for £7 from Hobbycraft.
ped
I'd recommend a suitable spray adhesive. 3M do a good one. That'll make sure there are no bubbles and blobs behind the material.
Geek99
PVA - aka wood glue with a credit card or gift card to smooth
spongebob
The spray adhesive is quite expensive for a small repair....would an all-round UHU do the job? Says it works on most surfaces?

Says it works on most surfaces? I haven't tried that one but it's probably OK. I'll have look when I get home and see if I have any 3M left, you're welcome to have it if there's some left. I originally bought it for fixing some roof lining in a car but not sure it survived the great cull of 2017 when moving house. Will PM you if I find it!!!
BigRedX
IME most 3M spray glue is nasty stuff so make sure you use it with a mask in very well ventilated area.
spongebob
I've stuck some UHU all over it for now, and it's currently weighed down sticking.....hopefully! Says it is suitable for polystyrene and plastic, so I'll take a look later... ....before I look at bringing in the heavy artillery! 🔫 EDIT - Don't think it's stuck too well yet....will give it overnight...
