Ashdown 400w head. Professional sound. Nice condition. You’ll put your class d in the bin when you hear it.
I’ve just had a full check over/serviced by Ashdown to ensure a first class amp for sale.

Variable 12AX7 valve drive pre amp. etc etc

Made in England in the early days.
Welcome to test here in Coseley, West Midlands.

Cannot tell the difference against a 500. The sound now, is as it initially left the factory.

There is no difference between these and the "500" version. I had that confirmed by Ashdown by email.

Best amp I've played is my early ABM combo. Same era as this one. Brilliant, brilliant amps.

Yup - my 500 EVO has an ABM400 power amp board. It’s just a marketing thing methinks!

Bloody good amps these are, and one of these in such good condition is a rare beast indeed. Well worth the money :)
