bish789
Hi everybody New to bass (six string player for years and years). Everybody in the world plays six string, and getting into a band is hard. Changed to bass, and hey presto. In like a shot. Lots of differences as I have to listen to a different part of a track now. Got an Ashdown Superfly amp, Ashdown cab, and dont laugh a Tanglewood bass. Spent about £2000.00 in last six months on gear of one kind or another, so a better bass will have to wait for a couple of months. Ashdown kit helps the sound though. Finger stretching with the bass has actually helped me when I pick up my six string, so another added benefit. Anyway, any tips for a bass beginner? WRONG Without bass the drummer has a problem, and so do the six strings. Feel like the lynchpin. And who else can make evrybodys stomach go? bw_user_name
Does anyone remember Blackie Lawless from WASP grumbling that he'd returned to the "Tool of Ignorance" from a brief spell at 6 string ? Our drummer always reminds me of the quote .. Bah
