For sale is this Mensinger Caspar 5 string bass. Its a short scale bass and has an incredible tone. Anyone that has played short scale know that the lower string tension feels fab and gives an immense tone. Currently strung E-C but sounds incredible conventional strung at B-G. Its in immaculate condition. Not a single mark. I'm thinning my herd down in order to fund my dream instrument. This bass is a joy to play, very easy to get around and great for chordal playing too.

Hi , sorry for missing your question. I'm located in South Wales and also near Totnes in the South West. Did you want to know string spacing on ACG or Caspar. It looks like you're in Somerset. Which part?

No probs.. both ideally. 

I am in yeovil - I go to Exeter quite often.

This bass is great for bass looping. You can get super fat low tones and overdub dreamy piano like chords over the top before soloing. Its really worth trying.
