paul_5 Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Has anyone ever had to buy one of these to ground the bridge on their Jazz bass? Looking to fit one to a bass but unsure where to get them? Basically it’s just a bent bit of copper, no? Quote
Geek99 Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 It’s just a simple piece of copper sheet held in place by the bridge and touching the earth pole of the bridge pickup. You could even use simple shielding foil 1 Quote
BassBod Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 I’ve used thin brass sheet, cut to run under the bridge pickup, then wired to ground on one of the pots. Quote
Thunderbird Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 I think kiogan sells them could be worth asking Quote
gjones Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 When my original one got a bit manky, I bought a thin sheet of copper from Ebay and cut a thin strip from that with a pair of scissors. Quote
