Quilly Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Just ordered a 4ohm Mark bass 2 * 10 traveler cabinet to use with a valve head (to accompany my barefaced two10). The SPL sensitivity specification of 101db seems a little bit like specsmanship? (i.e. are they just using a peak SPL figure at a frequency outside normal bass response). I want to use this with a 100W valve head so sensitivity is pretty important to me. Anyone have any experience with this cabinet? Quote

But if you have a BF two 10 why pair it with this? That BF should handle every watt that your head can put out. Quote
spongebob Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Congrats on the Markbass 2x10. I bought one after Christmas in the sales...it's a great cab. Used to run a 1x12 and 1x15, now I just use the 2x10 Traveler. 1 Quote

I reckon the tweeter in the MB would add a little more high end to the overall sound of the rig. I kinda need a back up cabinet anyways. Quote
la bam Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 I had the 210tv 8ohm and to be honest it was unbelievably light, loud and responsive. I genuinely never had very lm3 nowhere near half. You'll be happy with it. Quote

Had the CTM-100 at 3 O'Clock yesterday at rehearsal and the cab sounded sweet. 1 Quote
EBS_freak Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Aw man, you've probably hurt it's feeling now. They are sensitive souls these Markbass cabs. 1 Quote
