lurksalot Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Well I'll go for the obvious one ... stacking all your kit in front of a solid door so that anyone coming through it will destroy everything and causing themselves an injury in the process 😄 1 Quote
Skol303 Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Ooh now THAT is art! PS: judging from that headline piece, Richard Littledick has never watched a game of football in his life. 1 Quote
leschirons Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 And secondly, Moondance isn't worth the trouble of reading😂 Quote

leschirons Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Great example of a faux pas, posting your reply twice😉 Quote
Oopsdabassist Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Well at least its a bass! Got that bit right!!! Quote
grandad Posted June 28, 2018 Author Posted June 28, 2018 (edited) In accordance with a number of Basschatters's no-nos, I've depicted 5 definite transgressions, and one tawdry item. Not necessarily in order of wickedness: 1. Reading the Daily Mail. 2. Use of a music stand, (the folder is pink, not the stand). 3. Curly cable. 4. Irrefutable evidence of having played Moondance. 5. ? + 1 tawdry item Edited June 28, 2018 by grandad Spelling again Quote

Yes, the plectrum - plus others that I was unaware of! Edited June 28, 2018 by grandad Quote
leschirons Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 No- no's are, music stand, Daily mail, Moondance and that clip together instrument stand. (Possibly)😂 1 Quote

(Possibly)😂 The tawdry item is not the instrument stand I'm afraid which I find quite good, I have 2 the same, they are K&M. The tawdry item is the speakon to Jack speaker cable which looks like an odd bit of 1.00mm mains cable at least a good 2' long. I believe that only 27 Amp 2.5mm cable is acceptable. Well this has been amusing. hope you all enjoyed it, (by the way they were the kitchen cupboard doors). Edited July 2, 2018 by grandad corrections 1 2 Quote
paul_5 Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Should have gone for the 'Full set' and popped a clip-on tuner on there. 1 Quote
TheRev Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 HOLY CHRIST! HAS NO-ONE LOOKED AT THE DIRECTIONS THE TWO CABS ARE FACING????? PHASE CANCELLATION PEOPLE!!! I'm cool with the plectrum though, old school bass with a pick has a really nice sound. Think anything done by Air. 1 1 Quote
ambient Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Nice to see so many people sharing my intense dislike for the daily heil. 😊 6 Quote
BreadBin Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 I've always found it easier to play with the amp controls facing away from me. Dunno about anyone else? Quote
