Ok i have been working and typing and phoning on overtime, Arranging all of this so i will keep this short.

Tommorow, Steve (BC member) will be picking up the bass from jake in hove at 4PM. Steve will then take it to Ped's (BC admin) at oxford in evening. Then gman (Warwick Board member, Whos only 45 miles down the road in coventry) Will probably pick the bass up from ped and send it on to roeul!

I will keep everyone updated.

Balls in Jakes court.

UPDATE.

THE SHIPPING FUND.

More then enough donations have been given to cover the cost of some very speedy shipping and insurance, thankyou very much! Any surplus i imagine will be going to charity
Hi all,

Well I'm ecstatic that Reule's bass is now in friendly hands! I'm hoping to arrange with Steve to pick it up asap and get it off to it's rightful owner.

So....contributions gladly accepted!

Paypal payments to: [email protected]

Any amount will be gratefully received - so please donate however much you feel. I'm guessing the shipping will be well over £100, but I'll know better once I have accurate dimensions and weight.

Thanks for your support - bassplayers are the BEST! Very Happy

Donated a tenner myself! All i can spare (Just a poor student :) )

Seriously? And I've only been here since about day 6 or 7, and I've never noticed that. Colour me observant. Except, with nine people posting you'd have thought there'd have been more than 10 views by now? I know, I know - completely off topic.

But that can't be right. The reply count isn't linked to the view count.

Having been really busy yesterday I've only just seen what's happened on this multiple-thread affair with IncX's bass since Wednesday and it's great, great news!! Well done to all and especially Shockwave for his work on this..

I'm sure you guys have got it all covered by now but if not, then I'm quite close to Brighton and am happy to help if I can.

Basschat has even more to proud of itself for than usual. :)

I'm afraid that being so far North I'm out of the loop at this point ( :) ) but good luck (and good work) to those further South who can 'hopefully' now bring this to an end.

I know that Bob has his side of things covered but as Reule knows I'm available to back that side of things up if need be.

Fingers crossed for the next 24/48hrs.
there's no justice like angry mob justice.
Shows what can happen when a bunch of angry basstards start gathering together and sharpening the pitchforks.

I'm really moved by the level of response help and support by so many fine people on this forum and amused as ever by the good humour too.

Shockwave you're a star. Definitely several beers due to you at the next bass bash

"Evil prospers when good men do nothing"? This show what happens when people help each other.

Now let's move on to fix the economy NHS, middle east, afghanistan.
No sod it lets look at some more gear porn and swap jokes whilst arguing about jazz.

If it needs to go by boat, I am at Felixstowe so can stand on Landguard beach where the docks are and watch the ship sail over the horizon, just to make sure no Somali pirates hijack it for its precious cargo (Evil Ted can ride shotgun).

If it helps...

Just to echo what Nik has said I'm also close & am going backwards & forwards from Hove a lot at the moment so if needs be I would be happy to go over.

Hope it all goes smoothly from here.

Well done Rob.
I know youve put a huge amount of time and effort into this, and yes you may have a headache, but it is nearly over. Brilliant work. I am looking forward to hearing happy noises from IncX, perhaps a short youtube recital no?
