If you own one would you mind if I rolled over and tried it. I have bought with my eyes too many times and really need to be buying with my ears! Loved it as an instrument and the sound was incredible, but the mixture of fretless and 4 strings defeated me in the end. The Deep 5 has always looked just right to me. Good luck with your search.
