knicknack Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 I'm hoping there may be some experience here! I'm getting a Kent Armstrong magnetic pickup fitted to my bass. I'm also looking at trying Evah Pirazzis soon, so I'm interested to know whether anybody knows if they will work with a magnetic pickup, or if anyone happens to have an old set they wouldn't mind me borrowing/buying cheaply so that I could see what happens? I'm not a db player, but according to their web site, those are synthetic core strings, and so won't be picked up by a magnetic pick-up. Here's their web page ... Evah Pirazzi strings ...
