missis sumner
I only noticed late last night when I tried to play some Muse, that it used to work, but now it does not. The amp seems otherwise ok, but the overdrive switch has little to no effect. Would there be a specific cause for this? Is it something I can fix with my trusty soldering iron, or do I need to find an amp tech/send it off to Fender?
missis sumner
My bad. I must have had beer ears last night. I've just plugged my Yamaha into it, rather than my Nanyo, and it works...!
missis sumner
Errrmm, Nanyo had no treble on. Who would have thought lack of treble would lead to such a drastic reduction in overdrive?
Muppet
The overdrive on these is quite sensitive to various combinations of the gain, drive and level knobs and I have to adjust all three to get the right sound when I change guitars.

missis sumner
Nanyo is now set to max treble, and a little bass, and I have plenty of overdrive... Why couldn't I find that setting with my frantic knob twiddling last night? lol
