Right. Took this in a trade against a Status and fell for it.

Roger Waters I’ve converted to a 58 looking thing using only fender parts.

- Changed Pickguard to AVRI Gold Anodised

- Knobs Changed to AVRI Fender

- Bridge Changed to Standard Chrome (Like for like, the other was a black standard bridge)

- Fender Thumb Rest and Covers - Pure Vintage reissue from 63 reissue. Bridge area not Drilled, two holes under Pickguard area for each Accesory/part - Done by myself fully masked and with new drill bit so very neat.

- Seymour Duncan 1/4lb remains

- Gotoh Strap buttons - prefer the screws on these to the supplied fender ones, bit sturdier - felted to prevent any denting)

- Fender Pickguard screws replaced black ones from factory.

- Switchcraft Jack Socket to replace the Nut on the original socket, yes I still have the other bits.

All the black originally fitted Hardware remains in the gigbag.

Very little evidence of useage - Black basses show marks no matt r what, but it is very tidy.

9lbs, Low action, plays great - but I fancy one of the guild starfire 2 basses.

collection in Manchester M27 is best.

postage would be about £15/20 in UK

first picture is original guise, last pic is current guise

That does look very cool tho! Better than the original Roger Waters version.

Yeah, I think so.

But at least it’s not irreversibly changed if someone wants to revert it.

i forgot to add that the 5 bridge screws are also Fender replacement ones as they don’t supply them with the bridges.

MB1.

We don't use the "F" word in this house....but this is definitely one of there finer P basses whichever coat it's got on!

Speaking of Which?.....

Looks like a bit of gear I was selling has moved, so if I can get this gone I can get what I’m after without involving mr finance 😉

A friend of mine is interested....if others are also, they might want to be quick.

Might need to be super quick as someone else is tempting me with a trade.

fwiw, you played a Starfire 2?  Sound great but the neck is like a stick of rock.  Ended up selling mine because it was just too thin and felt weird going from P bass to SF2.

Sorry, don't mean to derail just if you haven't played one I'd check one first if possible.  Someone said the same to me and I didn't listen.  Should've done =D

I hadn’t yet. Get the feeling it would be a disappointing £1000 to find out.

ive been offered a deal on a Geddy Lee in Sunburst, leaving me with some parts to shift on.

i’ll see What happens with the trade.
