When I saw the email saying rainbow, I thought of a single cab in rainbow tolex or whatever. Now that would be funky.

One of the owners of Barefaced approached me at a new years eve gig a few years ago, bitched about my existing gear and gave me his business card. Worst marketing ever.

I know this has nothing to do with the cabs, but i've said it now.

As you were.

Curious indeed. I thought there was only one owner, unless things have changed in the past few years.

Very odd marketing indeed.

So it may well have been THE owner. Seemed a nice chap, but having a pop at my gear then handing me a business card is not my idea of getting a player on board. Hey ho. Sure the BF gear is great etc

The singer in our band runs the local BMW/Mini garage. He has a golden rule with his staff, never ever comment on the customers existing car. He’s very successful!

Meanwhile, back on topic, I really fancy the darker blue cab for pit gigs and rehearsals.

Just out of interest... what gear were you using?

To be fair, that’s pretty much how Rick Turner got Stanley Clarke to play Alembics. 😉

What did your gear sound like then?

It's good to see something other than black.  Just about every piece of backline seems to come with the Ford Model T colour guide.

I think these could go up above the streets & houses.
