W1_Pro
Morning all, I have an Overwater bass- I believe its an 'Artisan'- it's a version of their classic shape with a carved top. The truss rod needs some adjustment and I was wondering if anyone knew what size tool I need (fnar fnar). The truss rod nut has the hex on the outside, so I'll need one of those skinny box spanners- I'm sure someone will tell me the correct name! Thanks! yorks5stringer
Why not contact Chris May at Overwater? I'm sure he'll be able to help.

I did as it goes, and as others have noted on here previously, what a charming and helpful gent he is. I need a 5/16's spanner (same size as Gibson, apparently), and Chris was also able to give me a potted history of the bass, which is apparently a very early one which he dated at 1980 because of the rebate around the body, the Bill Lawrence pickups and the fact that it's passive. He also gave me some sage advice on adjusting the rod, which was very cool. I've included a pic of the bass below.
yorks5stringer
I was going to say on the original post that 'Chris May help you' but did not want to prejudice your opinion of him for a cheap joke!
TheGreek
Like all good bass builders, Overwater provide PROPER customer service. Some bigger companies could learn from them.
