I needed a backup bass as it seems quite likely that I'll be on tour next year I'd been casting my eye around for a backup which could also double as my active studio bass. Anyway, I got a backup (No 10) and it kills. Kind of like a Stingray on steroids and it only cost £240! 1. Fenix by Young Chang (short scale) 2. Alembic Stanley Clarke Signature Standard 3. Status Graphite John Entwistle Buzzard 4. Warmoth 8 string Explorer 5. Hamer Chapparal 12 string 6. Eko Florence acoustic 7. Wal Mark 2 8. Fender Classic 50s Precision 9. Rickenbacker 4003 10. Schecter Raiden - Custom That's a nice collection going on there. Quite varied too. Liking it. Dave

Loved your fBook comment btw, when you mentioned you'd recently started doing your music full time, that "we're a long time dead". Too true & massive amount of wisdom in that short phrase. The tour sounds great. Fingers crossed for you. Well, I'm running my studio full time now rather than part time. I came to the decision that if I didn't do it now I never would. That's my shameless plug for this thread now! I might try and get a covers gig for a laugh and see if I can do it. You're more than welcome to pop over if you want Bas. I'm doing 2 original bands at the moment so the variety of instruments is why I have them all. None of them sound like each other.

BassAgent
I'm now at seven. It used to be ten at one point, but seven is fine. For now. -1966 Fender Jazz Bass Original except for the frets and the finish. -1971 Fender Precision Bass Original except for the frets, the bridge chrome cover and the finish. -2013 De Gier Bebop 5 Custom built for yours truly. First Bebop ever with dot inlay and neck binding. -2018 Dingwall Combustion 5 Trans White Played this bass at the 2018 LBGS and now I have it. But not before Yolanda Charles played it. -2002 Fender Standard Jazz Bass fretless Lollar pickups, epoxied fingerboard, Gotoh 201 bridge, black pickguard. Best fretless I've ever owned and probably ever will own. This bass is made for me. -2001 Blade B2 Tetra Bass Nordstrand pickups, Aguilar OBP-1 preamp, otherwise original. Amazing 70's sound that feels great. -2001 Yamaha BB N5II My second bass ever, tuned EADGC. Will never sell this.
