Where do you point your knobs?

I recently took my jazz knobs off for a good old polish up and wondered where, when refitting, would be best to reposition the white pointers to look the most aesthetically pleasing. I ended up pointing them all full on at the 'V' at the top of the chrome plate where it meets the pickguard.

Mine point east when full on, I like south west on the bridge pick up and the tone pointing north (from playing point of view).

I usually point my jazz knobs at about 10 o'clock when on full... as you look down on them from above. My US Jazz was like that from new... so that's what I've tended to stick with.

Full on is at the 12 o clock position on mine, thats when on the strap.
