Eagle custom (lefty) - weird, for sure, and it damn well ought to be wonderful at that starting price...

Like that a lot - really interesting take on a lightweight headless design.

Do think it's a major oversight not having a contour to allow it to be played sitting down. Also if you're going to have cutouts (presumably to reduce weight rather than for the sake of it!) why would you not have them in upper & lower bouts, rather than compromise rigidity by sticking one right in the middle?

Or am I just being too damn pragmatic about a piece of art?

Not exactly lap-friendly, but I rather like that.

I wonder how easy it would be to flip it around to be right-handed?

Oh no ... wait ...

Buy it and find out...I'm fairly sure that Sylvia will "adopt" this long before you get the chance. 😃

not sure about the action on this - that one photo showing the MOP side markers looks like you could sail a barge under the strings...

In pic #4 the neck really looks like it would want to twist the top half of the body forwards. It's probably fine but it 'looks' weak.

If only it was right-handed and a five-string...

There's a similar one I've seen (Polish luthier IIRC) which solved the bottom contour problem by having a length of brass bar bent into a curve where the upper bout would be. Damned if I can find a picture though.

I know it's not but that sounds a bit like a Gus.
