jag-atk Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) Up for sale a Precision body made of two pieces of solid swamp ash with a beautiful grain pattern. Bought this online as an unfinished factory second with a missing splinter in the back and some scratches on the tummy cut. I fixed the missing wood with some filler (see pics) and I finished with oil and wax to give it a distressed look. The body comes with a 3-ply BWB pickguard, EMG active P pickup V/T with Warwick knobs, a decent quality vintage-style bridge. Weight (loaded): 2,9 Kg £140 shipping included my feedback: https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/252963-feedback-to-jag-atk/?tab=comments#comment-2653072 Edited August 24, 2018 by jag-atk
pbasspecial Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 (edited) Nice. Reminds me of a 1980 Walnut Precision Special. Just out of curiosity, if it's an active EMG, whereabouts do you house the 9v battery? Edited August 9, 2018 by pbasspecial Question
jag-atk Posted August 9, 2018 Author Posted August 9, 2018 battery is in the control cavity just below the tone pot 1
Beedster Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 Hi, is the neck pocket standard Fender fit? Thanks Chris
jag-atk Posted August 11, 2018 Author Posted August 11, 2018 yes, it is, Chris. A Fender licensed Mighty Mite jazz neck fit the neck pocket like a glove, pics of the whole bass below.
Beedster Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Thanks mate, I am really interested. Although it's clearly a pathology as I've just sold a load of project basses, I still have the perfect neck for that body
jag-atk Posted August 16, 2018 Author Posted August 16, 2018 Chris, I couldn't help but notice your parts listings... I am quite sure you have the perfect neck for this beautiful body 😉! Cheers
