Precision knobs for solid shaft...

I've re-wired my Precision using CTS solid brass shafted pots, but then I found they're too big for the knobs to fit onto.

So now I need some bigger knobs - chrome Precision style but will take a larger shaft.

Any suggestions?

Think the ones you need are to fit 1/4" shaft. These are the ones:

Have a look on eBay too - usually lots of them on there.

Your old knobs are most likely to be metric 6mm shafts, whereas the CTS pots are 1/4 inch (=6.35mm). Easy answer here is to get a 6.4mm drill bit, hold the knob securely and drill a larger hole in it. Don't forget to take out the locking grubscrew first.
