Twincam Posted August 15, 2018 Share Posted August 15, 2018 Well I suppose it can always be changed back, keep original bits and if it makes the instrument more versatile that can't be bad. Might make the bass cut through a bit more? As you mentioned a slight issue with that. Bonus of not having to replace the original treble pot thats suspect too lol. bassmayhem Posted August 15, 2018 Share Posted August 15, 2018 I cannot say anything about the East MM-preamp, but I've installed the J-Retro Deluxe in my both Dingwall Super J basses. A most versatile preamp, and I doubt the MM model would be less versatile and well sounding. And - Mr East is the definition of a true gentleman. A pleasure to deal with...
