79/80 jazz (?)

.. is this correct? I don't know these 'classic' Fenders so well, but the serial number (according to the Fender site, where it's not actually listed), 22-frets, open-headstock truss-rod adjust .... don't look right for 79/80 (?).

Body looks like a Longhorn "Boner" , which they made in late 80's / early 90s. 

And with the serial that should be a 1989 bass.

Be sure to check the serial number too for that one. Maybe it's 10 years younger also. 🙄
