deepbass5 Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 yah that sums it up The amount of times we have had some drunken idiot fall into the band is unbelievable. The worst was a bare knuckle fight by an entire rugby team at an Irish wedding, shirts and morning suits ripped the lot. tables and drinks flying one guy landed on my floor cans completely squashed it flat. But I would still say that Auld lang syne is the main culprit you then get at least three or four on top of you due to monitor placement Quote
joeystrange Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 You don’t seem to much much luck keeping PA speakers upright! 1 Quote
TheGreek Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 It's times like this that lightweight gear isn't an asset. 1 Quote
yorks5stringer Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Is that the new markaudio pa stacked 1X4 on top of 1X 4? Quote

scalpy Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 We don’t have this issue. We play to a more considerate clientele who weigh our subs down with alcohol based ballast, or clothing, or flowers, or candle wax or a first for tonight, bubble machine fluid. Still, the tops don’t go over. 1 Quote
TrevorR Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 On the bright side, you had a really clear monitor feed for the second half of the song since they seemed to leave the array pointing away from the audience! 1 Quote
Happy Jack Posted August 20, 2018 Author Posted August 20, 2018 The feedback was what caused us to pull the plug on any further encores. Quote

yorks5stringer Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Maybe you could do some songs by The Fall...? 2 Quote
