For sale my BC Rich Eagle bass from 1978. Neck Through, original DiMarzio double PUs, Badass bridge, Grover tuners, etc. This is the most seeked version, in Koa wood. No modifications or repairs, fully working Neil Moser electronics. Neck is straight, low action, and fully working truss rod. The bass has just been profesionally setup  and plays like a dream. The amount of tones you get out of this bass is amazing. Also, a very rare feature for one of these basses from the era: very light weight, under 8,5 pounds. Original hardshell case included.

Price is 2300 EUR.

Having owned one of these back in the '90s, I can honestly say that these are just the most fabulous of 'custom shop' basses.

They're beautiful to look at and to play and have so many tonal options to choose from it's frightening!

I think this is only the second one I've seen for sale on Basschat in 12 years, so this really is as rare as rocking horse poo..

Suffice to say, whoever buys it will not be disappointed.

I mainly play fender style basses, and I was immediately blown away buy the building quality of this instrument.

Yep - these were BC Rich custom shop level instruments; seriously high quality materials and components and very intelligent design principles.

On a more basic level though when it comes down to how this bass is when playing it, you can get just about any bass tone from one of these.. The chicken head rotary control gives you an incredible array of tonal variation just in itself, and that's before you start using the toggle switches and other tone controls. It's a lot of fun...

Think: the 'best rock bass ever' and the 'best funk bass ever' and you'll be starting to get close... 😊
