Just heard about this - I was also trying to access his website, being a user of several bits of his kit. Sad news - I liked his stuff and he helped me out when I needed some repairs doing. R.I.P.

... I just found out about this, my VT1 popped last night and I just emailed him about it... then I noticed this thread... damn, Dave was a wonderful chap, always indulged me if I sent him music to listen to or needed help with maintenance. Much love to a properly lovely bloke. 🙏

Just seen this; sad, sad news. My  VT2 Twin has not missed a gig in 10 years. Rest in peace, Dave.

Ah man, yeah what a helpful bloke. Bought a Pre off him and was a cool guy! RIP dude

Ive just noticed this (away on holiday at the time).  Sad news. I had a VT2 pedal and rack preamp. Spoke with him a few times.  Seemed like a really nice bloke.  He will be missed.
