prowla Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Man - you can see where the original logo has been sanded off! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Precision-Electric-Bass-Guitar/113210332610?hash=item1a5bdc95c2:g:KVQAAOSwqo5beT0L Quote
yorks5stringer Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 I think the Player and Infinity series are made in China but this is 20 years old and as you say, that decal looks well dodge...as does the bridge cover! Quote
TheGreek Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 "Precision Bass Guitar by Fender, made in China... I've had it for 20 years, and bought it second hand...Prefer cash on collection."(I bet they would). Quote
Happy Jack Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Gotta love that ashtray ... Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Quote
Roger2611 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 It looks exactly the same as a "Squier P-Bass neck I have lying around and that has a "By Fender" decal on the ball section of the headstock so would seem to match this one, mine has a Fender 50th anniversary sticker on the back which looks like it was originally on there, which. considering that was in 1996 would fit with his time frame of having owned it for 20 years The body was reasonably decent and now graces a fretless Precision, the neck was pretty horrid hence why it is still lying about unused!
