DylanB
SOLD Not sure whether this is Gen 1 or 2, they were manufactured until the launch of Gen 3. Detailed specs: https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/compact This has been my main cab for around 5 years, I bought it off another Basschatter. This cab goes LOUD, and it’s an easy one-hand lift. I can carry a bass, amp, cab and pedalboard in one trip! I’m only selling this because I miss tweeters. Comes with cover, as pictured. Handle seems to be ok, I’ve had no issues with it. There are various small marks and nicks on the exterior. The only potential issue is that one of the feet on the side has come off, and I don’t have it (didn’t notice it happening). The screw seems to have stripped the wood when it came out, so unfortunately it’s not just a case of replacing it exactly where the old one was. Should you wish to replace it there are instructions on the Barefaced website for where to purchase them: https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/T-shirtsandspares.htm Because the original hole is stripped, you would need to screw it in slightly to the side or below where the original hole is. This would only be necessary if you planned to operate the cab horizontally, I’ve never bothered because I’ve always placed the cab vertically. Happy to have you over to try it out, I’m in Carshalton. Collection only I’m afraid, but I’m willing to drive a reasonable distance. Mark_ii
I think the Gen 1 has the single speakon whilst the Gen 2 had a second, I may be wrong.

DylanB
That would make sense. I’m not sure what the timelines were, but this cab was second hand in 2012.
Jack
As I understand it there were very few changes. Nothing major between gen 1 and 2 when it comes to the compact.
casapete
Great cabs - my Gen 1 has black plastic corners but is otherwise identical. If I could justify another I would have this - GLWTS, cheers.
DylanB
Thanks all! Yes it’s a brilliant cab. I’d keep it but I’ve just acquired some others, in the spirit of one-in-one-out it’s got to go.
