Good on you mate.
Unfortunately, I missed them this time in Bristol. Seen them a fair few times over the years though, Mani is definitely their (not so) secret weapon.
I really like their new album particularly 'Uptown', did they play much of it?

Also, was wondering did you catch the support act at all, 'Cristine' - Douglas Hart's (J & Marychain's original bassist) new band - any good?

They did about 4 or 5 tracks off the new album, including Uptown (had really good video behind it) - sorry but missed support acts as could only get to the Apollo about 9pm, shortly before Primal Scream came onstage

I've never really been able to get into Primal Scream, but i do like Swastika Eyes and would imagine it would sound great done live.

Yeah, I saw them along with Supergrass and Neil young in the summer.

I was pleasantly suprised!

Managed to blag a VIP ticket to see them in Belfast a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't a huge fan before seeing them, but what a FANTASTIC live band! Managed to get a pint with Bobby G and Mani afterwards too in the backstage area, top guys!

They are MUCH better live than on record - and Mani is a funny guy!
