Twincam
While what is suitable to gig with is subjective. This guy knows and he knows from experience! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F332775366220 I just feel that anyone buying this to gig with, other than in maybe a few scenarios, will be disappointed. Even with pa support. Someone might buy this thinking it will be suitable for something it's probably not.

TheGreek
The link now takes to this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ashdown-bass-amp-/273420206682?oid=332775366220 No idea what the reserve is but it could be a good buy if it stays cheap. itsmedunc
Really don't think that will be nearly loud enough for most gigs, apart from coffee shops etc. Many many years ago I had a small but heavy Carlsbro 60w combo. Can't remember the model but it had push button presets. That was one of the loudest combos for size I've ever used. Think it was a single 12. Not saying the sound was pretty but definitely deafening. Watts were watts then! 😂
bigsmokebass
Taps on the amp "I once gigged with a 100w amp and it was twice as loud as needed"
Newfoundfreedom
I used to gig with a 30w Laney amp in what was essentially a Metallica cover band. Granted we were only playing small venues but I never had a problem. I guess everything is relative.
