Pick Up change...Recommendation please!

Morning Folks....I have a lovely Yamaha Bass (not sure what model) its very similar to the one Nathen East used to use not the TRB though...its got the typical Jazz type pups but there a tad weak unfortunately...the Bass handles and plays great but thinking of upgrading the pups and after some recommendations please, thanks in advance, cheers Bob.

Stupidly powerful but very clear and punchy , I have to plug into the active input on my amp despite the bass being passive.

Like Dom in Somerset, I'm really impressed with Entwistle. I've fitted them in to customer's instruments and my own. Don't be put off by the low price, they really are up there with some of the much more expensive pick ups that I've tried.

How about the sound of a classic hand-wound pup?  I'm really enjoying my Jess Lourerio hand-wounds. They give a strong, deep gritty punch. Amazing value too.

I've never got on with Jazz type basses...... until I fitted a pair of the Entwistle JBXNs. 

I wired a series switch in as well and that really sounds good.
